I absolutely loved this. Your voice is infectious. I could read a whole novel about this character and her exploits. Thank you for battling me and thank you for providing such an incredible piece of fiction from the battle. You were also such a helpful and joyful person to set up the battle with. Thank you for that, too. I feel like we created this together!

I really did have fun working with you and it did feel like a collaboration. I am looking forward to a rematch and I will definitely do the moderator role. Hopeless was hilarious, loved their presence there.

Great story, both long and short versions! It was entertaining to read and the voice is strong - felt like I knew the characters well. Also the situation being an after-party heist for a clock purse is hilarious.

I have read both versions twice and listened to both another 2 times. I really love this piece. Its crazy to me how much the "clock purse" paced us through the story like a walking stick. What a metaphor! A clock purse. Capitalism running out of time in the 1990s? Materialism running rampant like our teenage bully antagonist? So many places to take the metaphor and wonder about it within the story. The clock purse is chef's kiss.

A part of me is like...I don't know, the shorter version still packs the punch of the longer one, but the longer one does have some beats I hate to lose. Reading both of these is a lesson in the problem of length for writers.

I am still not done thinking through this wonderful piece of writing.

Novel! Novel! Novel!

Hey, you know what? I definitely stole some content from my half-baked novel for this story. How did you know? Mainly just the goth-Ishness of the main character… now you are psychic, what can’t you do?

Yo, this novel would be so good. You have to finish baking it and get it out to the world.
